For competing in 2017 West Asian championships, Iran baseball team travelled Pakistan. Iran competes in the tournament with 18 players. The tournament is scheduled to be held from February 25 in Pakistan, Islam Abad city and Iran team compete against India and Sri Lanka in group 2. The first match will be against India and the next one with Sri Lanka. Pakistan, Nepal and Iraq are also in group 1. Two top teams from each group qualify to semi final round.
