The General Assembly of Iran Federation of Sport Associations
The General Assembly of Iran federation of sport Associations was held in Tehran. The deputy of Sport & Youth minister, Dr. Mehdi Alinejad, the president of Iran federation of sport associations Mohammad Alipour and directing board of federation as well as head of associations in provinces participated in general assembly
“Our federation has 21 sport associations which cover 70 sports and we have also about 2000 committees and associations all over the country.” Alipour said
“During covid-19 crisis, we held 104 educational courses which is a record in Iran sport. We also managed 27 virtual competitions as well as 20 virtual training camps during the pandemic.” He added
“With efforts of our members, we have achieved 25 international positions in different Asian or world federations. Also Iran ministry of Sport & Youth and Iran Olympic Committee have supported us during last years which was a great help for the federation.” Alipour noted during the assembly
“ Conducting the federation with too many associations and sports is a difficult job which Mr. Alipour succeed to do that and the federation of Sport Associations is a powerful arm for Iran sport.” Deputy of Iran Sport & Youth minister Mehdi Aslinejad siad |
