The Results of Iranians at 2019 Asian Waterski & Wakesports Championships
The 2019 Singha IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakesports Championships was held at TE Wake N Ski, Pathum Thani, Thailand, from 23rd to 29th September 2019.
Disciplines included Waterskiing (slalom, trick & jump – Open, Masters <40+> and Junior <17 & under>), Wakeboard (Open, Masters <30+> and Junior <14 & Under>) and Wakesurf (Open).
Iranian Amirhossein Mahigir placed fourth in slalom and 13 uears old Abolfazl Zamanian was fifth in juniors slalom
Soroush Sobhani also came fifth in wakeboard as Hamid Ghadami the head coach of the team competed in master category and placed sixth
During the event, Asian confederation council was held and Alireza Mehrsadeghi appointed as vice president of Asian Waterski & Wakesports confederation and Abbas Nategh Nouri appointed as member of technical committee, competitions committee, coaching and development committee cable wakeboard committee. |
